Quickstart Guide
Set in the year 2056, Yolo.eˣ is a story-based game centered around a breakaway island network known as Arkvale. On the primary corporate trading island metropolis, you will explore the world through the eyes of a new recruit who has joined the most prestigious trading firm, looking to rise through the ranks and achieve both respect and wealth.
Getting Started
Head over to the Epic Games Store and download* the game here:

*You will need an Epic Games Store Account to be able to download the game.
Once downloaded and installed and run the game and start exploring. This version of the game includes the “early-access” content as follows, with full story episodes and game-modes coming soon:
Prologue
- Trailer
- Commencement
- New Recruits – an interactive third-person tour of the Yolo.eˣ office where you will be able to meet some of your future colleagues
Market 3.0
- A ground-breaking virtual DEX (Decentralised EXchange) inside of the game, Markets 3.0 allows you to create or import and wallet and perform real-world trading of blockchain assets
Prologue - Playing the game
The Prologue parts of the game are very much an introduction to the world of Yolo.eˣ, providing a background via the trailer and “Commencement” interactive cinematic, whereas the “New Recruits level allows some free exploration and other interactions via your controlled third-person character, Kenji Suyama, a new recruit.
Player Controls
To navigate during free-roam sections of play, you may use the W/A/S/D keys to move forward, left, backwards and right, in conjunction with the mouse to look around. The left shift key will cause your character to run.
Occasionally you will encounter an icon that pops up on the screen indicating a key that must be pressed to effect some action in the game, sometimes accompanied with a countdown timer. Failing to push the key in time or make a choice could result in some serious consequences in the game world.
Objective
The primary goal of the Prologue is to set the scene, introduce the player to the world and allow them to familiarize themselves with the office and some of the key characters. Simply complete the office tour by following the eccentric receptionist, Rachel. Have fun with it and enjoy the ride!
Markets 3.0 (Experiential Defi)
To gain access to Markets 3.0 you will require an “Access Key” which may only be obtained through contacting the Markets 3.0 Supervisor character named “Trent Whitlock”. He is reachable on X (formerly known as Twitter) here:

Markets 3.0 is available only to those with a valid Access Key. Access keys are distributed by Yolo.eˣ in a carefully restricted/curated manner, and are associated with individual user's computer hardware.
Once you have your access key, you can enter Markets 3.0 via the main menu. Upon entering, you will walk inside the circular trading desk where you will be required to enter in your access key to “unlock” access to the area.
You will then be presented with an opportunity to either create a new local wallet or import a wallet via seed phrase (in the case where you have an existing wallet you would like to use). In either case you will need to set a brand new password for the wallet before you can continue. From then on, you will be able to enter Markets 3.0 simply by entering the wallet password to unlock it.
Once the above is completed you will be able to access the Markets 3.0 screens and interact with the various widgets and components. Full guide with detailed walkthrough can be accessed at any time by right clicking any screen, flipping it to the reverse side to reveal the help documentation. The following is a very brief summary of the aforementioned help guide.
NB: It is important to note that Markets 3.0 is not a game. It uses real-world crypto transactions, and the trades have a real-world impact, essentially acting as an exciting DEX (Decentralized Exchange) interface for the Cryptocurrency markets.
